Scholarship Benefits:

The Southern Cross University International Regional Scholarships and Vice Chancellor’s Academic Excellence Scholarships offer the following benefits:

International Regional Scholarships:

• $5,000 fee reduction annually, distributed in instalments across each study year. Payments begin in the first session and continue upon successful completion of each study session.

Vice Chancellor’s Academic Excellence Scholarships:

• $8,000 fee reduction annually, paid in instalments throughout each study year. Payments start in the first session and continue based on the successful completion of each study session.

Eligible Nationalities:

• Eligible Countries: Open to applicants from all countries worldwide. Australian or New Zealand citizens or permanent residents are ineligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Language Requirement: Proficiency in English.
• Application for full-time (8 units per year) undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degrees at the Lismore, Gold Coast, or Coffs Harbour campuses.
• Meeting the minimum admission prerequisites set by the University.
  • Undergraduate Entry: Equivalent qualification to Australian Year 12 with the required entry grade for the applied program; English proficiency comparable to Academic IELTS 6.0 overall with no band score less than 5.5.
  • Postgraduate Entry: Equivalent qualification to an Australian Bachelor's degree; English proficiency comparable to Academic IELTS 6.5.
• Successful completion of all units within their academic progression, maintaining at least a pass grade in all units to remain eligible for the scholarship.
• Meeting the attendance requirements of their program and student visa to retain eligibility for the scholarship.
