What is the Donation Barometer Project?
The Donation Barometer initiative, made possible by the generous support of the "Friends of the University" association, launched in Winter Semester 2023-24. For each completed questionnaire from incoming, graduating, and alumni students, the association contributes €2 to a scholarship fund benefiting financially challenged students. These funds provide one-time stipends of up to €300.

Eligible Nationalities
This scholarship is open to domestic and international students of all nationalities.
Eligibility Criteria
To get BAföG, University of Passau students (from their second semester) and their families must have limited income. The parents' or guardians' income cannot be too high. Also, the student's yearly income should be under €15,000. This amount goes up by €8,000 for each child the student supports.
