Monash University International Tuition (MITS) Scholarship 2025

Monash University, a member of Australia’s prestigious Group of Eight, is now accepting applications for Round 3 of the Monash International Tuition Scholarship (MITS) 2025. This fully funded scholarship supports high-achieving international students undertaking graduate research degrees by covering 100% of tuition fees and Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC).

The MITS Round 3 Scholarship includes:

1. Full course tuition fee coverage for the entire duration of your degree.
2. Single Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) policy for international students.

Note: MITS does not provide a living allowance. Applicants may also apply for a Monash Research Training Program (RTP) Stipend or other scholarships to support living expenses.

Eligible Nationalities

Open to applicants of all nationalities.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for MITS Round 3, applicants must:

1. Be an international student (non-Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident).
2. Be applying for, or currently enrolled in, a Research Doctorate or Research Masters program at Monash.
3. Meet Monash’s competitive scholarship selection requirements, including academic excellence and research potential.
4. Fulfill English language proficiency criteria.
5. Obtain an invitation to apply from the relevant faculty (for new applicants only).
6. Meet Monash’s admission requirements for graduate research degrees.

Note: Eligible Joint Research Award candidates (with Monash as the home institution) may also apply.

2. Quality of previous research work
3. Research outputs and publications
4. Alignment with Monash’s research strengths
