Monash University is proud to announce the opening of applications for the prestigious Maxwell King PhD Scholarship (MKS) for 2024. Named in honor of Professor Maxwell King, a significant figure in graduate research at Monash, the scholarship provides substantial support for PhD students with a comprehensive package.
The MKS offers a living allowance of $50,291 per annum, along with research and relocation allowances, ensuring students can focus on their academic and research pursuits without financial burdens. This esteemed scholarship is open to international students, Australian citizens, permanent residents, New Zealand citizens, and Australian humanitarian visa holders, with two awards available annually: one for a Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) student and one for a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) student.
Eligible candidates must meet Monash University’s competitive scholarship selection process and English language proficiency requirements and have submitted a scholarship application for the current year. Interested applicants should prepare their documents, including academic transcripts and proof of English proficiency, and secure a faculty invitation if they are new applicants.
